I believe in being my authentic self with clients. I certainly don’t have it all together, and don’t expect you to either.

GET TO KNOW ME
Hi, I’m Shanae. Welcome!
I strive to bring my down-to-earth sensibility and sense of humor into our therapeutic relationship with the desire that you’ll feel safe, supported, and encouraged so we can work together through life’s questions and challenges.
LEARNING & GROWING
The Experience Behind My Work
Our Work Together
You know something in your life needs to change, but you feel powerless or overwhelmed on where to start. You beat yourself up, wondering why it’s so difficult for you to take action when everyone else seems to have their act together. Consequently, you end up doing nothing, and the cycle of shame continues. Believe me, I can empathize, and more than that, I can help.
What I want you to know, more than anything, is that there's nothing wrong with you, and you're not broken. You just need to take that first small step towards the healing you truly want.
As we work together, you will find I use a variety of techniques and approaches to help meet your individual needs and goals. Most importantly, your preferences and ways of learning and processing will always be acknowledged and respected throughout the counseling process.
